Traffic in Fort Walton vs Destin

I am going to be over in FW/ Destin area next Tuesday and Wednesday. I have not been to Destin in a while. Is the traffic still terrible from all the construction? Would having to go through that mess prevent you from scheduling time with someone?

Construction is finished in the Destin area. Only some in the vicinity big Sandestin.

Construction just began on the brooks Bridge in fwb recently. Haven't experienced delays....yet.
