For my job I have clients travel in from out of town. Had to cancel several due to hotel room rates. Comfort Suites went from $100/ night to over $500/ night. Even Stupor 8 wanted $380. That must have an effect on the ladies using decent hotels for work.

Gouging

The term for the price increases is dynamic pricing. Everyone does it now. Uber,Lyft, concert tickets etc. Whatever the market will pay.

Kinda like the provider market in Rochester. God bless the girls.for getting it cause the guys do not know any better!

Saw an article that one high end place was cancelling reservations that were made 8-9 months ago so they can open up rooms for a much higher price. Lawsuit to follow I would hope.

No one is going to go to court for that shit

Off topic a bit but one take away from going to the PGA was the incredible amount of young ladies wearing those real short golf skirts.
