I have no health insurance, and I have been taking a "maintenance " type drug for a couple years now. I dont want to stop it but seeing a cardiologist every 3 months at $300 - $500 ish a visit as a cash customer got old REALLY quick. I found another who would call me in a scrip' every other visit for 90 days supply but I still have to go see him a couple times a year PLUS by the pills, which do not have a generic and are NOT cheap.
I found some Canadian online pharmacies that seem legit, and even one that personally was recommended by someone in the medical field. However they all still require a prescription from a doctor every 90 days. I can save a couple hundred dollars every 90 days but I really need to cut that doctor visit down to once a year or once every 18 months if at all possible and find a pharmacy online that will continue to dispense the meds otherwise. I remember reading about some that would do a phone consult with a doctor for a small fee about your history etc and then let you stock up.
What I take is not a controlled substance or anything either. I should have stocked up when I was in Mexico, as it was a steal there, but I was scared to death I would get arrested for bringing back a duffle bag full of meds even though they werent DEA controlled or anything. I did refill my 90 day bottle since it was current and had a good label on it. Cost me 1/2 what it does here.
Shitty part is I can get all those painpills and other stuff that supposed to be controlled on a $4 a month generic and theres a dozen docs that will hand them out like candy on a $25 office visit!!!! Christ I just want to keep my heart healthy lol!
PM me if you have had good luck/currently use one. Thanks!
