in addition to german food in the big biergarten tent, many addison area restaurants have food stands in the park area.

EIN PROSIT!!! [german for "CHEERS!!!"]

Next weekend

Greek Food Festival Fri-Sun Sep 23-25.
http://www.greekfestivalofdallas.com/
the church is at the corner of Hillcrest and Alpha Rd [Little to specific to a providers locationBubba3452 see Directions page for parking info]

i've found the best time is Fri nite [open til 11pm] [not so crowded].
if the weather on saturday is cool, go early afternoon.

general admission is $6; ala carte food from $3-8 more or less [see Cuisine page]; greek wine and beer $6 or so.

if you go, you HAVE TO TRY BAKLAVA SUNDAE - vanilla ice cream w/ crushed baklava on top!!!! [baklava is thin baked dough, chopped walnuts/pistachios in honey]

OPA!!! [greek for "CHEERS!!!"]
I've been to both, and they're fun. Good thing the weather isn't as hot. Both places are crowded; the worst part is to find parking.
