Round 'bout midnight is my all time favorite jazz tune(That and "My Funny Valentine"-Miles). I heard it for the first time when I was in the 6th grade.

A priceless night equals: Getting my freak-on with a hot provider while some Grover Washington, Wynton Marsalis or Miles Davis playing in the background!

Nope, no jazz. Don't know why but really grates my nerves.

For me to groove it's the blues. Texas, Delta, Chicago, Midlands.

Rye whiskey, good cigars, and good tunes.

Oh shit, I just noticed Sofia. She's been around for a little bit on the Spanish channels and she used to host this show called Fuera de Serie. Holy shit what a hot piece of ass!

I enjoy Miles Davis unique tunes. My favorite jazz artists are Paul Hardcastle, Peter White, David Sandborn and Kononia. All of these jazz artist bring their different flavor of tunes to the arena. I love music that soothes the soul and mind with a fine glass of wine. Oh yeah!!!

P.S. When I was stationed in Germany in the 80's we would go to Den Hague in the Netherlands for a 3 day jazz festival, those were some of the best times stationed overseas.
Thelonious Monk & John Coltrane <3

Last year I saw the Return to Forever reunion at One World Theater in Austin. It was tremendous.

Alas.... I miss Pastorius... what a waste of a great talent!

I'm also big fan of Jean-luc Ponty. And here's one for you if you are familiar with them: Brand X. I have always been more in tune with the B Bop and Fusion circles. But I can also grove on Lee Ritenour, Earl Klugh, and The Rippingtons.
