Changing Avatar?

Newbie question!

How do I go about changing my Avatar?

On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see a drop down labeled, "Main Menu." Select "User CP" (CP=Control Panel) and from there you can change your avatar. It's under the "Settings & Options" portion. Select "Edit Avatar" and choose whatever you like!
