PSA Bucks Ft Worth now $25 dances
There are now signs all over Bucks Cabaret Ft Worth that dances are now 25. Apparently started last Monday.
I am at Bucks Wild Dallas right now and the guy watching the lap dance area told me $25 topless, $35 nude. He asked if I wanted to pay ahead of time or after.
I saw him take the $25 I gave him for one dance and hand $5 to the dancer. After the dance, I asked him if the performers only get $5 per dance. He said they get more than that, but I saw what I saw.
Big oof. Not gonna lie, may stick to rubbing one out with the ladies on the internet lmao.
I hope this doesn't spread to all the other clubs.
Chicas Bonitas has been 25 per dance with 5 going to guy outside the VIP box.
Spearmint Rhino is 30 per dance. I went to the North Dallas location once in summer, I got a drink and left after 30 mins
if BDD and Chicas Locas go to 25, I'll cut back for sure
Basically if your not a millionaire your not welcome in strip clubs anymore!!
I'm someone that's been going to a SC the last 2-3 months to catch a vibe and chill and not extras really like some. I'll get a drink and a tall Voss water(better deal than regular water) and usually 4-6 dances weekly from a couple regulars.
if they go up everywhere to 25-30 I'll probably switch up to going for extras. 20 has been the price for decades but I feel the songs are shorter than they were
I also went to BWFW last night because Dallas talent wasn't my type at all. On top of these price changes, songs at BWFW were definitely getting cut off super early too. Shorter than normal, I mean.
I'm glad I remembered this thread, got some time off till after Thanksgiving and wanted to check out some SC's I never visited before, mainly Bucks FW and Buck Wild Dallas, but nah I won't entertain $25 a dance. I'll pass
I’ve never been impressed with Bucks in Dallas. Baby dolls is pretty much where it’s at for me
Bucks Fort Worth having their 13th anniversary party tomorrow.
I am not interested.
Bucks has gone downhill at all locations in the past year. I remember a time not too long ago that the BWD dance area was dimly lit and extras a plenty. Now it’s lit up like a Xmas tree. BWFW VIP upstairs use to be sit wherever you want, plenty of privacy and Xtras a plenty. Extras can still be had here but they charge extra for certain spots up in VIP now. If busy the free places may be taken, not very many. Was never impressed with Bucks Dallas. Went recently and quickly reminder why I don’t go this place. Bucks FW has been good per reports but i haven’t been enough to have an opinion. But let’s just call this the last straw for bucks. I’m drawing a line in the sand and won’t visit, although I’m going to try to get to Bucks FW once so I can see for myself. Been a long time. I was impressed with the talent couple years ago when went but my guess it’s downhill like the other 3 I can attest to. I was hoping 20 dollar dances were recession proof but Bucks is trying its hand at changing that. I hope they flop and other like Baby Dolls who is the gold standard don’t follow. We may soon be looking back at 3 dollar cover and 20 dollar dances and saying those were the good old days like we looking back now at 200 hour service all in at amp wishing we could remind the clock. Better get ‘em while the gettins good.
AFAIK, the RCI clubs have not raised dance prices. If they hold, they should see a nice increase in business as guys switch to their clubs. Even if per dance prices are higher at bucks, the dancers will follow the guys. Hard to make money if no one is buying.
That said, it's been $20 a dance for decade's. We see a number of clubs have already raised prices. Before long, most, if not all, will go up. We may not like it, but we will adjust. Once $25 or $30 becomes the norm, some guys will spend less or stop going, others will not care. I remember back in the 70's and 80's dances at some clubs were $5, $10 tops. Prices went to $20 in the early 90's in most places. The world was coming to an end then, just like now. Yet guys adjusted and the world did not stop spinning
I remember paying $5-$10 for lap dances in Houston when I first started going to strip clubs at 18 (drinking age was 19 then):
Goldfingers on Chimney Rock just south of the 59 Southwest Freeway (now called 69 interstate) last time I look they were a pawn shop)
Chic on Hillcroft just north of Westpark next to a convenience store, it's now a Mexican pool hall
City Streets at NE corner of Winrock and Westheimer, across from what would be Caligula 21, it's now a used furniture store
Silhouette on Bellaire Blvd in Bellaire City between Hillcroft and Chimney Rock next to McDonald's. It's now a Mexican diner and the McDonald's is gone too.
Baby Oh's at the NE corner of Sage and Richmond Avenue in the Windsor Plaza next to the Windsor Theater, sharing the same north borderline with the lot that in 1989 would become the Houston Men's Club. Baby Oh's closed after Windsor Theater closed. It was several singles night clubs and then the entire Windsor Plaza went bankrupt, gained new owners, and it's now a Gym.
Playmates at the SE corner of SW Freeway and Bissonnet, it's now Auto Mall 59 used cars
I DID NOT start paying $20 for lap dances until I visited the first original Rick's Cabaret in Houston for the first time in 1985. Rick's Houston has long been gone and become a hip hop rap club.
All the other places I mentioned were still charging $5-10 per dance.
Baby Oh's was the first strip club I ever step foot into. Went there with a few college classmates. We were all 18. Drinking age was 19. The bouncer knew we were underage but told us he would let us in and we will have to sit at the bar instead of a table and we each have to buy a beer.
So we sat at the bar, each one of us ordered a bottled beer. They were $2.50 each plus whatever tip we put down, maybe 50 cents or $1 each, which sounds cheap now but back then in the early 1980's, we were college students with no money and whatever job we had outside of going to college were minimum wage jobs paying $3.35 per hour.
This little blonde came up to us and ask if she could dance. We thought, hey, music sounds good, if you want to dance go ahead we told her.
So she danced, did not take any clothes off, she danced fully clothed, going from one of us to another teasing us and then after a while she stopped and said we owed her $20 for 4 dances.
Again we were college kids. We had to put all our money together to come up with $20.
After that we got the hell out of there. I don't think we even finish the beers.
Let’s see, VIP is $60. then $25 per dance for 5 minutes. !! I’m out, time to go find a escort for $300 & spend an hr!!!
I remember in Nam we could get a HJ & then aBBBJ for $ 15 mpc
Semper Fi Vietnam Class of 70
