Whirlway which candidate on the GOP side are you pulling for???? And don't give me this crap about anyone as long as it's not Obama. I am going to find the link, but they had a couple of Republican strategist of different Presidents on CNN and they were all saying the GOP has got major issues. Two of the 3 believe Perry will get the nod but will lose out to Obama 1 of the 3 said he thinks Romney will win and is the most likely to beat Obama in a General election- this is what they said about the crop running for GOP nod- and these are their words paraphrased:
The GOP has a tough decision- if they go with Perry they will have someone whose views they like but will virtually be unelectable and will lose to Obama- if they go with Romney they have someone that really has not lied up to their values- primarily with Romneycare and will alienate some hardcore conservatives, but he(Romney) would give Obama a far tougher fight than would Perry.
The conservatives all said this about Obama- regardless what the situation is.."people still like Obama--yes he has a low approval ratings but you will find that a great majority of Americans like Obama and that is going to hold a lot of weight in 2012.."
So keep counting down Whirl- to what could very well be Obama's re-election- I think it's stupid for you or anyone else to say what's going to happen, but if I were a betting man I will bet on Obama. Originally Posted by wellendowed1911
