Steve Bannon received a pardon from big man Trump. And he still couldn't manage to stay out of jail. He was Trump's chief strategist.


And his trial on charges of money laundering, conspiracy, and scheming to defraud is yet to start.

One that did it right was GGordon Liddy.

He did the whole stint in Federal Prison, no parole. He refused it.

That way, when he got out, he had served his debt to society and was free to tell Judge Sirica to go straight to hell.

Bannon is not one of my favorite people. The country would be better off if he'd never been born. That said, four months sounds awfully stiff to me for refusing to testify in front of a Congressional Committee. Yes, the January 6 Committee did dig up some worthwhile information. However, most committees exist for the purpose of allowing politicians to grandstand.

I guess the four months is government's way of showing when you don't do what the Man says, the Man will fuck you.
