Working from home?

I am coming out of retirement for the next two months and I wondered whether or not I should work from home? I don't live with many people around that would notice. I don't really want to work from a hotel because of the cost and more people notice. To me it feels like it would be a fast way for the LE to get involved. I know some ladies work from home. How does that work out? Would you be offended to see toys (if she has children). Is a futon acceptable? I think it would be so much easier to work from home.
Or does any provider work from an apartment and would let me use it for a fee?

Malaya, no matter how well you screen, there is some risk of a freak or stalker at your door. So I think the don't try this at home rule is a good rule for this situation.

Also, gals, consider keeping the hobby crib offers, wanted requests on the super down low. You dont want to become low hanging fruit for a guy who runs out of donuts.

Words of Wisdom from the man above.

It only takes one nut case to cause a major disturbance in your life as recent events teach us.

Talk to some of the other ladies about options.

Personally, it makes me feel more comfortable and safe to see a provider at their home. I don't mind seeing toys, but it would make me feel really uncomfortable to see the older kids. I don't think its good for the kids to see Mom with a lot of unknown Uncles. Futon, floor, shower would be OK with me as long as the provider is nice to spend time with.
If you live in a safe area where there its not full of vice or neighbors who are in your A**and looking to cause you trouble , it's totally Okay to work from your home. As far as the toys, those should not be a problem as long as they are all over the place lol It would not be good for a client to trip over a toy In Vegas, I lived in a weekly with my 2 year old..a one bedroom weekly so my son's toys were always on display..only had one guy say something and I told him to leave!!! If a few toys were going to distract him, it would not be a good session...no fun for me..no fun for him...I asked him to leave!!!
Just thought of something after reading (((flinde's response))) I did have an issue last summer with a stalker type. I refused to be his live in girlfriend, so, he called CPS on me. I wasn't really working out of my home, so, thank God not lots of traffic there, I just saw him there and when I did see him, my child was not there. So yeah, since your child or children live with you make sure you only see well known members of Eccie or another board at your home. The guy that tried to cause me issues was not a well known member on this board..no reviews..no anything!!! He is no longer a part of the community!!!Just for the record, my baby is not on tour with me here, he is safe in Vegas with the nanny

Oh....Those kind of toys????
Jack.Crevalle =====> you really need to read what you posted. Last thing any of our ladies need is CPS inolvement and I guarantee some idget would make a comment in the review about toys around the place which equates to FLAGS.

Its a bad idea to work from home especially if you have kids. You really need to reconsider the idea of working from home. Hobby life and real life need to be kept separate.
The last thing you need is CPS shutting off your electricity because your toys consume a lot if it.
