Those movies have ratings. Until recently you couldn’t see them, unedited, without meeting certain requirements. This was good while it lasted, but is now something left to the household. You’d hope they’d be responsible, unfortunately not all will.

Congress write laws all the time, there’s no reason to think they couldn’t pass something that requires equipment manufacturers to implement appropriate device level restrictions. ~Device level is key here~ Determinations can’t be left to the sites themselves. Discouraging traffic, of ANY kind, is clearly not in their best financial interest. The industry will fight it tooth and nail. It’s a fight worth having, imo.
