How do the liberals amongst us feel about

eliminating the filibuster and adding say six new seats to the Supreme Court?

Seems like Trump has a mandate from the voters to fix things up...

Should this be done now?
I doubt any Democrat wants to talk about eliminating the Filibuster or messing around with the Supreme Court.

It’s amazing how a little thing thing like WINNING, (and LOOSING), can change things overnight.

The idea of adding seats to the supreme court is just as stupid coming from the right as well as the left. You will also note that it’s never been the position of the Biden administration.

You’re also making the assumption that the President has a mandate from the electorate. Winning the popular vote by a percentage point or two does not a mandate make.

The reason responsible liberals never really got behind a plan to pack the court with new justices is because it will do nothing but destroy what little legitimacy the court has left.

In my opinion this is a stupid thread designed to troll the libs. No real policy here.

As you know, if that happens, the next time Democrats control everything, they'd do something like add 15 new seats to the SC and try to admit PR and DC as states.

Any reason we can’t go back to the talking filibuster for instance.

I'm against both myself... the only reason I think it should be considered is that the Democrats have made noises about doing just that. So if it's to be done, why allow Democrats to do it?

The dems loaded the gun and put it on the table... Should Republicans wait for them to pick it up and aim it at us?

Where does Nancy Pelosi stand on this issue now?
