East Fort Worth area good restaurants?
Looking for fun places to eat near my new incall on 30/360?
(Don’t worry, I’m still keeping my apartment in North Dallas)
BFF Asian Grill is pretty good, and I have wanted to check out Hearsay over in the old Rangers ballpark
It looks like you're not getting much help here. I work alone in Hurst and got tired of eating microwaved Dinty Moore beef stew for lunch, so I visited Reddit and an FB Mid-Cities food group and ask for recommendations. I got more than 30 within 10 minutes of the office. So far, I've had an OMG-excellent Cuban sandwich and discovered a New York-style pizza-by-the-slice place. Thought I'd throw that out there.
Hey Lance, where is that Pizza joint? NY Guy always looking for decent pizza down here. I've got a place in Plano... Ferrari's in Plano at Legacy & Coit... NY family owned! I drive 30 mins for it!
It may not be up to your standards, but I thought it was pretty good. New York Pizza & Deli. A little bit south of 183 on the west side of 157.
The best steak I've had in my life (and my dad was a meat salesman for Swift & Co. was at Ellerbe's on Magnolia in Fort Worth. When I repeated the trip, wondering if I would think the same thing again the second time ... I absolutely did. But be prepared. It isn't cheap.
Ellerbe’s is very, very good.
Sushi Soho in Bedford. Ayce. Wish your incall was in north ft worth.
We love going to Dixie House off 820 / Lancaster. It's a great little diner joint with great pies and cakes. We haven't gone to Italy Pasta Pizza but it's always has cars in front of it. China One Xpress has the best hood chinese food with great portions if you know what i mean. Anything with a spanish sign has had good tacos. A lot of the markets will have a food window out front that has been good too.
