Literally the only times I have ever watched CNN in my life was the beginning of the first Gulf War. I remember we let the plebes into the dayroom to watch the the opening attack of Desert Storm on Baghdad. Other than that, I've only ever seen it in airports.

Cnn is still the gold standard in cable news. Many reasons for networks losing viewers. Most of the reasons are not political.
