Have to give Trump credit for the good too when deserved...

Yet to be seen whether this will be fully executed, but if Trump can continue to make these types of deals happen, no complaints from me. I have no problem giving credit when credit is due. Remember though if you are a naysayer, I put in bold and underlined the word "executed" for a reason.

We are hoping Mr. Trump will succeed and develop into a bona fide leader, not a dictator.

“Trump said in his joint appearance with Son that the investment would create 100,000 jobs focused on artificial intelligence and related infrastructure, with the money to be deployed before the end of Trump's term.”

100,000 jobs. I have my doubts.

Government policies can help to expand the economy or contract the economy. Democrats like to think that regulations have no cost, which ain't true at all. Plus most of the time regulations are outdated the day they are put in place, that is how fast things change.

I recall something similar during the 1st Trump term. I don’t believe it ever actually occurred. I’ll have to think of which company it was. Maybe TSMC but I don’t recall right off hand.

This is only a pledge. Well see if it even materializes. Most all of these are way over promised and hardly ever deliver anywhere near the new jobs promised. So jury is still out on this one. Snick

Haha

The Monday announcement echoes a similar pledge Son made with then-President-elect Trump in December 2016 at Trump Tower, when Son said he would spend $50 billion and create 50,000 jobs.

While that money was eventually spent, it is unclear whether those jobs were created.
