Avast doesn't like ECCIE anymore.

I run Avast antivirus software on my PC and up until a few days ago it would give me a pop-up warning about ECCIE but it would connect to the website. Not anymore. Now Avast deems ECCIE to be malicious enough to not allow a connection. It says the URL is Blacklisted. I had to add ECCIE.net to my Avast exceptions in order to connect. I don't like to do this, but I did in order to send this message. Is there something your web admin can do to address this?

Not as of the time I sent the message. I had to take action via my Avast exceptions in order to be able to connect. Avast has ECCIE on the Blacklist in it's list of malicious websites.

Just a guess but maybe one of those advertising pop-ups was hosting something malicious.

txdot - that's actually a good guess. Maybe I need to drill down further to see what is tripping the Avast. I also noticed that I no longer see member's avatars with their usernames. Must be Avast sees them as a threat also. Thanks for the guess.

As I mentioned the other day my Adaware spyware blocked this website completely. Had to delete Adaware to get it to come back up. Something is triggering it.
