Techno-babble

Not to hijack another thread, where do amateurs get this techno babble:
When a computer tech person works for a website they can internally block/filter vpns before a member can use one.
However, you can change your firewall and router settings to block most VPN access, such as creating an access control list to block commonly used VPN communications like UDP port 500.

The nice thing about my learning is it was not all "white hat"

The more you know how to use technology the more useful it becomes. You will seek out nifty programs or apps to do things for you and make life easier.

What Busty was talking about is basic firewall blocking.
Ghost Rider is correct that there can be a decent paycheck for the techs.
Also correct that knowing how to use it, it becomes very useful, even if not for a paycheck.
