Best place to get oil changed in Omaha for reasonable price??
thanks!
Short notice? Ask a kind gentleman here to change your oil for you if you buy the beer & materials
Independent mechanics that are worth using are booked out 1-2 weeks and can't get you in short notice.
Never, under any circumstances, go to a "quick lube" place - wal-mart, jiffy lube, etc
ok thanks yall!
I hate going to Jiffy Lube
Back when I was traveling for school I had to use a jiffy lube. After the change I was cruising down the interstate and got an oil light. Opened the hood, and the fuckers managed to break my dipstick holder off in the block. Last time ever using a quick lube….
We all have nightmare stories.
You know how they always over-tighten the oil filter? Insurance. They have to have multiple guys MAKE SURE the oil filter is tight because the incompetent monkeys they hire can't get it right
That is assuming that they actually replaced the oil filter or even put the right oil filter on (they can't possibly stock every oil filter for every engine from every make). Had the last one happen to my sister.
Or the times they've bought transmissions for people because they drained the transmission then overfilled the engine
Or the times they've bought engines for people because they overtightened the oil pan drain plug, crack (or otherwise destroy) the oil pan, and all the oil leaked out going down the road
A short list of good places to go for oil changes, if you can plan ahead (there are probably more)
Omaha Car Care
R&G Service
Buchanan's Service Center
DIY Garage
Boob and lube in des moines Google it was back in the 80s classic.
I go to King's Fast Oil. They're so fast and super friendly!
I’ve used Valvoline oil change on Millard Ave. (next to Tuffys) for almost 20 years. My twin sons graduated with the (a few years ago) manager and I’ve never had a problem there. They’ll great you right.
