He was a treasure!

I ran into him once but I mistook him for the great Whitey Ford. I didn't recognize my mistake until I realized he was holding the baseball in the wrong hand.

I can imagine them at that great ballpark in the sky, laughing their asses off as they discuss games they called and trade baseball memories, all while downing a few beers, of course .....
