Is Waco Really That Bad For Law Enforcement?

Every other week, I travel from north of San Antonio to Austin to just North West of Waco for personal reasons and last time I stopped in Waco I only had a few requests I couldn’t accommodate for personal reasons, but from what I’ve heard it may be better to stay in Temple or even Killeen.

Thoughts from the locals?
I do no think you would have a problem at a reputable hotel. Let me know if you decide to make a stop.

The hobby is getting expensive now. Looks like a lot of hobbyist in the area have “retired”. Not like what it used to be a few years ago.

At this point, I'm heading out of town for a few months in a couple weeks-- but hopefully when I get back, I'll be more active in the area.
