The distance from the downtown bridge to Russians is 1.8 miles / 2.9 km. I find that to be an easily walkable distance but it all depends on your physical condition and how hot the temperature on that day is.

You could probably walk it but for a cheap 3 or 4 dollar Uber ride I myself would rather not.
