Trump above the law ?

Everyone knew this was coming. But less than a month after taking office ?

"He who saves his Country does not violate any Law," Trump proclaimed on his Truth Social network
Purportedly a Napoleon Bonaparte quote, though there are disagreements.

Norwegian terrorist and mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik, responsible for the 2011 Norway attack, used the phrase in his manifesto.

Some of us were warning yall.
Trumpf has always thought he's above the law
He who saves the Country and preserves the Constitution is what President Trump’s goal is.

And in the mean time, he is unloving the mass corruption and fraud that permeates our Government.

I'm just riding it out.

Gonna see how the actions of those around me are a few years down the road.

Gonna love to see how history shows this time.

Prime fodder for Willaim Manchester if he was still alive.
Did Trump pardon his family? Fauci? The January 6 "committee"? No? Just another troll thread...

Where is the above is Trump preserving the Constitution. or even indicating it is a goal of his ?

Former President Nixon said something similar:

The biggest threat to the USA is the Democratic Party. Uncle Don and Super Elon are uncovering layers of inefficiencies and probably more fraud than anyone could have ever thought was possible. We basically bankrupt until they stopped it. The only ones complaining are the ones that benefit from the old system

The executive branch’s key roles include:

President - The president is the head of state, leader of the federal government, and Commander in Chief of the United States armed forces.
Vice president - The vice president supports the president. If the president is unable to serve, the vice president becomes president. The vice president also presides over the U.S. Senate and breaks ties in Senate votes.
The Cabinet - Cabinet members serve as advisors to the president. They include the vice president, heads of executive departments, and other high-ranking government officials. Cabinet members are nominated by the president and must be approved by the Senate.
The executive branch also includes executive departments, independent agencies, and other boards, commissions, and committees.

Legislative branch
This branch is made up of Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives) and special agencies and offices that provide support services to Congress.

The legislative branch’s roles include:

Drafting proposed laws
Confirming or rejecting presidential nominations for heads of federal agencies, federal judges, and the Supreme Court
Having the authority to declare war

The judicial branch includes the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

It evaluates laws by:

Interpreting the meaning of laws
Applying laws to individual cases
Deciding if laws violate the Constitution
