I've been a member for 2 or 3 years. I just let my membership lapse. Its probably good if you've never been but not much activity on an ongoing basis.

I am a member, it does take a long time to get the VIP access as the admin is really slow. But I will say, you get people that will respond and give information. Not as solid as the old days, but still one of the better places for information, advice and direction for Costa Rica. As for finding girls, I use Facebook and Tinder now as it is the better option for me anyway. But costaricaticas does help me with guidance and what is going on in town.

I did. I randomly got a message from the same email address I'd sent about 6 messages to, saying my forum access was now active. No idea why it would take so long but it DID eventually work.
