This is my first time in Houston this Thursday for a few days. I’m super excited & looking for any recommendations on lounges, restaurants, shopping all that fun stuff

Try Kemah, Clear Lake is deceptive.
Depending on what part of town you'll be staying in it could be anywhere from 15-40 minutes.
There are nice places to chill & shop at all over Houston, just try to avoid the East Side, nothing over that way.

There are lots of great bars/restaurants on clear lake, there are some great options in Kemah as well.

Distance from Houston really depends on where in Houston you are. Houston and it’s suburbs, which are usually referenced as Houston, covers quite a large area.
