Nola visit - Amp scene

I've got a friend going to Nola in a few months and I'm thinking of tagging along with them. I haven't done the amps before but I'm curious so I was looking around and wondering what the skinny is on the amps around Canal and Bourbon? Clean or dirty? Rip off for a good deal? Dangerous, too busy, virus factories? Any insight anyone can offer I'll take.

Bumping the thread, cause I'm about to make a trip down to NOLA myself. Looking for any fun to be had while I'm off duty at the conference.

I haven’t had any luck on QUALITY with the AMPS in that area. They there. Just nothing worth rushing back to. Unless the scene is changed.

Metairie places are better, such as Ling Spa on Division st

Romeo and Juliets on Heebe in Metairie is the best/cleaniest.
There is also a Mr Binky's in Chalmette on Paris road.
There are two others in Kenner that are kit or miss.
