Trump refuses to discuss Putin's aggression

VitaMan's Avatar
During the Zelenskyy visit, Trump is asked questions about Putin and Russian aggression.
He refuses to answer. He won't even acknowledge Putin is a dictator.

What hes says is he can't be talking down Putin when he is trying to put a deal together to
end the Ukraine conflict. He says he must talk nice to able to negotiate and get a deal done.

Is there truth to this ? Or is Trump just doing the usual Trump act....

He can't talk down to putin yet trumpf and jd jump zelensky like bullies doing putins bidding.
Trumpf ain't gonna anger his leader
Trump is like jealous of Zelensky. He’s jealous that Zelensky stands up to bullies and calls Putin for what he is. Trump lacks the backbone to do so. The only strategy Trump knows is bully someone that he thinks he has leverage over and kids the ass if anyone he fears.

He’s never once shown that he’s an astute negotiator or leader. It’s really sad.

Why discuss Putin when he's not even there. That's so childish like a bunch of old women gossiping about the neighborhood tramp.

That's not a good look for adults and does nothing for negotiations.

Think Putin is going to negotiate after getting piled on everyone calling him a dictator, evil, bully, whatever... On International TV.

He'd probably tell everyone to fly a kite and now take all of Ukraine, not just a piece.

Believe it or not the Oval Office in front of International Press isn't a forum post where name calling by anonymous people that think they're experts is normal.

Neither is letting Russian news outlets into the Oval or sucking up to Vlad. It's only normal if Trump's carrying Vlad's bags

Getting back to discussing Putin's agression....

There's nothing to discuss, cause everyone's aware of it.
Putting it on public broadcast is not the way to make deals.
Trump was correct that Ukraine has no cards to play in that political bluff poker game where Ukraine's natural resources are in the pot for the big boys to divy up.

Trump isn't showing much awareness of it, or anything like a spine when it comes to addressing it.

So that leaves a large portion of the U.S. And the world wondering why he can't just man up. He has no problem using harsh words any other time.

No one could even find Ukraine on a map. Ukraine was part of the USSR (no one cared than about Independence, free will, borders, whatever) and now if they become part of Russia again, so what?

Want to use the America's the World Policeman excuse, again? That's worked so well for us in the past, but it's different this time?

We are the defenders of Freedom? Really? sure, mmmkay. While the rest of the world builds infrastructure that is 10 times better than ours, we waste our money only defending the freedom we want.

You think if Ukraine was a money laundering scheme even before the war, you think anyone would care? Regular people only care because of the propaganda that has pushed for years.

Or you could try the "Putin doesn't want to stop at Ukraine and we should stop him there, / Putin evil. Other evil dictators exist, yet we do nothing, most we partner with.

Without spouting propaganda and name calling - So why do you care? Why is it worth our tax dollars and our blood (eventually) to get involved in some civil war that the Russian government (all of it not just Putin) voted to intervene and protect other Russians next door?

Why do you care about the internal BS of some other country?

Trumpf refuses to discuss putins aggression is true.
Has trumpf even condemned putins actions on Ukraine?

Zelensky is out of options. His so called “friends” in Europe will sell his ass out in a minute, just like they have in the past.

President Trump has offered him the best deal he’s going to get. He had his chance. After hundreds of billions of dollars in weaponry, he has gained nothing.

The people of Ukraine will tire of this. Zelensky will be lucky if they don’t pulled a “Mussolini” on him.
Most forget that the left wing idiots here and in Europe thought it was a good idea for the Russian's to build a Natural Gas Pipeline to Europe so they could get energy from Russia, yet they call Putin evil. Why support someone evil?

Ukraine’s not winning this militarily. Russia’s got the manpower, resources, and frankly, the willingness to grind it out. You’ve seen the reports: Ukraine’s scraping by, pulling guys off the streets to fight. That’s not a sign of strength; it’s desperation.

Russia could’ve flattened the place if they wanted to. They’ve got the firepower, but they’ve held back, focusing on the east where ethnic Russians were already leaning their way. You might not like that, but it’s not about ‘kowtowing’ to Putin; it’s about facing reality. More aid, more weapons it’s just prolonging the bleeding. If you really care about those people, wouldn’t you rather see the destruction stop now instead of betting on some long-shot victory that’s looking less likely by the day?

And about Trump, say what you want, but not ‘standing up’ to Putin isn’t about kissing the ring; it’s about keeping things cool-headed for when the inevitable talks happen. Because they will. Russia’s not packing up and leaving—period. Negotiations are coming, and going in with a calm mind, not poking the bear just to flex, might actually get something workable out of this mess. Isn’t that better than more years of wreckage?

Trumpfs fiasco was the opposite.
Suka Bois was the opposite.

You're putting too much focus on me, my dude and you're not going to compel me to move an inch. Sound familiar?

There are methods untapped if you stop and think through the problem with Trump and Putin. Economic in nature that the tariff games hamstring. Let's see if you get there. They don't require soft words and acting like a pussy.
