Winning! Another Trump cultural victory.

Channel surfing I ran across PBS and Great Performances. An opera sung as an opera about a female fighter pilot. She is wounded in the Middle East and is recovering in Nevada. She meets a cowboy and has a one night stand (yes, she is not a lesbian!). She gets pregnant, marries the cowboy, and has a daughter. He tries to become some sort of house husband and she becomes an armed drone pilot. Waiting to see where it goes. Don't know when they video'd it but they wouldn't have shown it on PBS. covering their funding I guess.

I haven't watched a PBS drama in over 30 years. Do they still have intros like this one?

This was Great Performances and you always come in five minutes later.

The musical play was too long and had a fatal flaw in the plot. Our hero witnesses a friendly fire incident and watches Americans die from 50,000 feet. She develops PTSD. Later, her and gamer bro running mate are tracking a terrorist. They want confirmation before they send him off. After days of the guy avoiding looking up, he gets into a car when his young daughter runs to the car and they have him! Spinning up the missile, she is cleared to fire but the daughter will not go back into the house. They lean on her to take the shot and she delays. She is being ordered to take the shot and she crashes the $28 million dollar drone into the ground to save the daughter. Another drone nearby arrives and takes the shot killing the terrorist and his daughter. She is arrested and sent to Leavenworth. The flaw? The play write misses that they had him identified and they could have got him five miles down the road after the daughter returned home.

Three and a half hours....
