Regardless this is Lockport not a spa friendly town. Judy at New Elegant Shiatsu ran a good spa in a decent location that got raided after a few months. This new spa will probably have the same fate.

Miss the New Elegant, as Judy gave great foot rubs afterwards....

If reviews are the reason that spas close, queen would have been closed ages ago. What gets these places closed are complaints from the neighbors. That’s exactly what happened at new elegant. It’ll happen to this new one in Lockport, the location will draw unwanted attention

I have to agree with LuvTheAMP in that it's neighbor complaints that get these places closed, not LE browsing boards like ECCIE. LE has it's hands full with real criminal problems and scrambles every day to cover critical bases with limited personnel. Repeated complaints about suspected illegal activity will get a response.

There isn't any place in WNY that is AMP friendly. Some places are harsher than others. The only thing that may save this one for a few months longer is the parking ability in different areas nearby. Also, since it isn't near houses or on the exact main drag of L-port, it may keep things more chill.

But at the same time, when you see a building vacant for a long time. Then suddenly you see a small sign that says "Spa" with a typical wireless doorbell, it kind of makes things obviously.

Queen was near a house where the renters would watch coming and goings....must be anorher reason stayed open for so long..

Probably figured if it isn't causing damage to their place, nothing wrong with it. Someone is making money. Who cares if they also live in the business.
