Craving Italian Food Near The Arboretum

Hi everyone! I’m in my apartment in the Arboretum all week. But I am craving some very good Italian food. Can you all please give me a recommendations for a good Italian restaurante near the Arboretum?

I also live very close to Jules Milano. I know she loves Italian food also!

Perhaps she and I can go together to the restaurant. Anyone want to come along?

Con mucho amor y pasión!

Reale's on 183. Andiamo off north Lamar
I'm definitely down. I haven't had good Italian in a minute, and I'm overdue.
North Austin actually punches above its weight when it comes to Italian food. You've got a few solid spots, all with their own vibe:
North Italia (Domain – 11506 Century Oaks Terrace) is the polished, trendy one. Yeah, it's part of a chain, but it doesn't feel like it. Fresh handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and a Bolognese that hits just right. The Strozzapreti with chicken and roasted mushrooms is stupid good. It’s consistent, stylish, and always packed. Not exactly a hidden gem, but you won’t regret it.
Andiamo Ristorante (2521 Rutland Dr #325) is the cozy, authentic sleeper hit. Hidden in a random strip mall like most of Austin’s best food, but the moment you walk in, it feels like Nonna’s house. House-made pasta, legit sausage, and a Tiramisu that should probably be illegal. It’s warm, honest, and doesn’t try too hard.
Siena Ristorante Toscana (6203 N Capital of Texas Hwy) is your move when you're trying to impress. Think stone walls, Tuscan vibes, and a wine list that’ll make you feel classy even if you showed up in flip-flops. Chef Harvey Harris actually cooked in Italy, and it shows. Get the Wild Boar Ragu and thank me later.
So really, it just depends on your mood:
  • Want something sleek and reliable? North Italia.
  • Craving comfort food done right? Andiamo.
  • Trying to feel like you’re in Florence for a night? Siena.
Either way, you’re eating well.
