I am thinking about heading along the coast to FL and wanted to know...

Is it better to make a stop in Baton Rouge or head on into NOLA?

This would be my first time heading this way, so recommendations are highly appreciated.

Got dates, not long now! I am only stopping in NOLA a day and bopping over to Baton Rouge a day... Limited time, but it's all I can do at the moment.
