It's been reported russia is not on the tariff list.
Point blank....
WHY IS THAT?
He only had about 25 companies on the list he showed in the Rose Garden WD. Trump's imposing a minimum 10% tariff on all countries. Russia's will be that or higher. They're brown people. He wants them gone. It's a final concept of an idea of a solution.
For the majority of countries it will be a lot higher than 10%. Cambodia will be 49%, Vietnam 46%, and Bangladesh 37%. I guess this is part of Trump's master plan to kill people in third world countries. He got a good start by cutting off medical aid with "0" notice. So NGO's and other countries and the aid recipients themselves didn't have time to adjust. There are already people with HIV and the like dying because of that. Originally Posted by Tiny

Bloomberg published a list of reciprocal tariffs for about 140 countries this evening. Russia, Cuba and North Korea are not on it. Iran (10% minimum rate) and Venezuela (15%) are.
Cannot collect tariffs for material goods that do not enter the US. Originally Posted by biomed1

And hopefully his income tax policy and deregulation will cushion the blow of the tariffs.
First, U.S.-Russia trade flows in goods are small, only about $3.5 billion in 2024 and $36 billion in 2021. In comparison, total trade in goods between Canada and the United States reached $762 billion in 2024 Originally Posted by The_Waco_Kid
