What’s new?

Hey I’m in town for the week , is franklins bbq worth the wait?
Can someone explain why girls can't post some form of ad, instead being forced to post these barely disguised threADs like "Should I eat at Franklin's BBQ while I'M IN TOWN THIS WEEK??" "I'm AVAILABLE IN THE ARBORETUM RIGHT NOW, is there anywhere good to eat around here?!" or "Gosh I'd love to go naked swimming if anyone has access to a swimming pool *wink wink*!"

At least let them post what their rates are in the threAD lmao

My all time favorite is Pizzitolas in Houston. Been around since 1935.
you have to not think of it as a line for BBQ. Most people out there treat it like a tailgating hangout. Get out there early with an ice chest and some chairs with friends and just hang out on a Saturday morning for a few hours before getting some amazing BBQ.
I got invited to go recently with some friends from out of town. $39 for a pound of brisket. They are out of their mind. Even without any waiting line at all, there isn't a BBQ that is worth that money (they pay maybe $4/lb for the meat).
They will not see me there again.

Coopers is insane too. Not spending $40 on BBQ.
