Worth listening to regardless of on's affiliation.

How about you just succinctly summarize the key points that you want to discuss for those of us who don't want to spend an hour and 15 minutes watching a damn video of somebody with an extremely impressive education background whom we've never heard of?

LC: I appreciate what you are saying. I admire and am envious of your ability to be a functioning contributor to society. Believe me when I say that without sarcasm or mockery.

I have been retir4d for twenty years now and dealing with several disabilities layered with hip replacement surgery and a lengthy rehab. So, I do have the time to listen to the whole pod cast.

Weinstein is saying that in his opinion, the election of Trump could be spectacularly beneficial or horribly disastrous for the USA and the world. Only time will tell.

At the time of the video recording, he described the way American candidates were selected to effetely produce politicians who were acceptable to the established world order. Trump, he says, managed to become president despite this ad hoc system, is not in the mold of McCain, Bush, Romney or any other Republican candidate since Ronald Regan.

At that time, after the election but before much else had happened, Weinstein said it looked like Trump would renegotiste or disrupt the set of formal snd informal network of trusties and agreements worldwide, to include NATOA, the EU and the World Bank etc.

LC: I know you are an active and busy guy; I applaud that . . .but Istrongly urge you yo listen to most of this all at once or in sessions.
As with any monumental decisions, there are always great risks.

If people are not willing to take the risk, they deserve none of the greater benefits of any of it.

The Democrats and much of the World are hoping that the American Voter is as spineless and stupid as they are.

How long can China hold out?

That may sound like a bad pun . . .not mant to be.

China can probably hold out longer than we can. There is absolutely no upside in trying to find out.

Well, we will see what happens next . . .and after that too.
China can and will hold out longer than we can. Now the only question is, will they allow the idiot an off ramp that doesn't highlight he got his ass handed to him.
Chairman Xi appreciates the full throated support that the usual suspects from the left here give him. China can't win a trade war with us. We are the biggest market in the world. China can't run their coal powered plants to make products without coal from US. When Trump wins, prepare for another round of crying from the usual suspects.

China produces most of the thermal coal (both black and brown coal) it burns, but imports coking coal to make high quality steel. Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Shaanxi are the main coal-producing provinces, and most coal is found in the north and northwest of the country.

I'm certain that we can all sleep comfortably at night knowing that The China is expending great energy caring for our climate. Leastwise, much more energy than they do caring for the slaves they use to mine it.

I am thinking that soon, China will take more direct action in blockading sealines in the Pacific in retaliation.

The Malacca Straight is one obvious choke point, but they could merely claim the South China Sea to be closed to commercial shipping . . ..and enforce it with Coast Guard units.
