You have to visit the 6th Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza for sure.
Wear a few more clothes than that, but only while visiting museums...lol

If you get to Fort Worth, the Kimbell Art Museum is world-class. The Modern Art Museum is much more ... well, not sure what the word is. Not my taste, I'm more traditional (Monet, eg). The modern will have things like Kadinsky and the banana nailed to the wall. But the restaurant in the Modern is the perfect lunch spot.

wow, you're a work of art and deserve a museum devoted to you !!!

i hope you enjoy your visit to our fair city!
cum back often!!

in dallas arts district - Dallas Museum of Arts, Nasher Sculpture Garden, Crow Museum of Asian Art. Miriam Cocina Latina for excellent mexican-caribbean food!
nearby - there's a small private museum devoted to Samurais and Japanese art.
at Southern Methodist Univ (on Mockingbird Ln) - Meadows Museum focusing on Spanish and Latin/Hispanic arts & artists.
north of LBJ on Spring Valley Rd - Valley House Gallery, small private museum w/ small walking path around a garden.

plenty more.
is there a style of art you want to appreciate?

The Museum of “Fine Arts”, uptown and downtown……!
Nobody has mentioned 2 of my favorites:

The National Videogame Museum - AMAZING!
Museum of the American Railroad - If you're a train nerd, this is heaven.

Both of these are on the Tollway in Frisco. If you're a soccer fan, you can also visit the National Soccer Hall of Fame at nearby Toyota Stadium.
