Is moderation too difficult for some users to understand?

Since this topic keeps coming up, I thought I'd poll the users. Is moderation here just too difficult for some users to understand?

Most of the time the rules are pretty easy to follow. The tricky one is staying on topic. I’ve been pointed multiple times for this very thing.

Message threads tend to wander without something keeping things on track but sometimes it seems like some members get away with more egregious posts than others.

Sometimes I find myself going back and deleting posts after the fact because I’m not sure how they will be taken by the mods. Pointing certainly has changed my posting behavior.

The guidelines are easy to follow!
The moderation of those guidelines can differ from mod to mod. As been said in other threads.
So this poll doesn't include what's really the issue.
But staff can run it any way they like.

Mods also take into consideration a
person's attitude towards the
rules/bans and how you treat staff in return.
Just post a review, use this site for what you want and leave it that. Then you will never have to worry about moderation. Say nothing at all. Period. And you'll be just fine

Go turtles. Although finishing second is what a gentleman turtle should strive for.

Two more days of voting. Let’s make it too big to rig!

Slow and Steady wins the race. Just ask Bugs Bunny when he raced Cecil the Turtle
