Can you furnish a link that backs up your comment the most vocal Trump supporters have neither a IRA or Roth? We will patiently await that link. Originally Posted by golferguy55

So, it's good news all around. We're not shunning you! And hopefully this poll will answer the question you posed!
LMFAO. I am not a big fan but to answer your question yes I do have a Roth and a few traditional IRA's. And yes Tiny my portfolio has done well in this market correction.

1.For the price of a hooker you open and IRA at many online platforms. So what would be and IRA you concern with maybe 10% or more of net worth and a million plus.
2. I think many people who voted for Trump did not like him bet he was lesser of two Evils.

The investment strategy aside- if you're invested in equities- (stocks), you likely took a bit of a hit or a big hit depending on what you hold. In order to stay on topic- I'd guess that about 80-90% of folks took a haircut of 5-10% in retirement funds but that's based on general offerings that most ppl have in fund selections via either their companies groups or general investing options.

A couple of observations. First, some years ago, I'd estimate about 60% of board members leaned Republican and 40% Democrat. Now it's flipped the other way, if you believe the Trump supporters are Republicans and vice versa.

And second observation, a number of members, particularly the anti-Trumper's, don't have IRA's. Gentlemen, don't underestimate the power of compound interest and tax avoidance! Get an IRA and start saving and investing!
