Avoid Jessica Rabbit in Rochester

I made a date with Jessica Rabbit on her tour to Rochester.
She seemed 100% legit so I sent her a deposit. (STUPID).
Her texts to me were vague and demanding and made me suspicious but because of her Tryst ad I still thought she was legit. (STUPID). After receiving my deposit, she then asked me to pay for her hotel room. That was it. I said goodbye and I'm glad I only lost $150.
STUPID
I know better.
Don't be foolish like me.

I've done it too, don't beat yourself up too much, live and learn.

When you start getting desperate enough to think about sending money to random women on the internet, just jack off and you’ll feel so much more clarity
I thought because she is on Tryst that she is verified in some way. ALmost all of the women there ask for deposits.

She texted again last night (2:00 am) to say that I shouldn't worry and that we're still on for meeting. Hmmmmm...

The fact tryst does verify their identity doesn't mean they wont rip you off. Tryst does very little to nothing about girls that run scams.

There are multiple Jessica Rabbits. At least two others midwestish also do the deposit etc thing.
There used to be another one in KC who actually changed her stage name as their bs was impacting her.
Those rates are enough to dissuade me, but thanks for the heads up. This is why I almost always buy local

Who knows? Our "date" was supposed to be tonight. I'm wondering if she might still reach out to me, and if so, how should I play it?
Or is that a dumb question?
If she doesn’t ask for more money up front, what do you have to lose?

Perhaps I am overreacting?

I would make the trip if I prepaid
She might honor it
Research the girl as much as you can so you can get a sense of her legitimacy. High prices do not equal high quality or sterling reputation.
No not totally prepaid. I may be stupid but I'm not THAT stupid. I only sent $150. Stupid enough.

I researched her as much as possible before I contacted her. I didn't find much, which was suspicious.

I thought I was gonna get me some fine strange. All I got was strange.

Well good luck on whatever you do
Sucks getting ripped off
You are far from the only one...
the time for our "date" has come and gone.
Unlike me.

Thanks for the support, gents. I hope I've kept others from getting ripped off too.
