Now It’s India vs Pakistan, Muslim Against Hindu.

Of course, these two Countries have been at odds ever since the British said to heck with it, packed their bags and left.

Just like the Muslims have a problem with The Jews in the Middle East, they have a problem with the Hindus in the lower Asian Peninsula. Of course, historically, the Hindus have also had a problem with the Muslims.

I doubt this will become a “Proxy War”, as both India and Pakistan are well able to take care of themselves. However, they both are in the Nuclear Club. Which simply means they have the ability to devastate each other.

India is considered a Western Ally, and while the US has had it’s differences with Pakistan in the past, we are at least on speaking terms.

Minerals minerals minerals.
I sure hope we don’t have to choose.

In reality, I think both Pakistan and India, while being recognized as enclaves of Islam and Hinduism, are in reality secular Governments.

It seems the World is getting smaller every year. And you are correct. It is becoming more and more about strategic minerals, who has them, and who wants them.
