Back in the day, there was Bali, Lucky Haven etc.
Even a couple of years ago, there was Michiko
Where did they all go? Are there any left now?

Where have you been? There was a massive culling. Leo raided most of the AMPs, seized the cash assets and we have no idea what happened to all the ladies. I imagine a combination of jail time, deportation or just moving out of Dallas. Now cities are using civil suits to close any locations they feel promote prostitution. Studios are still thriving for now so check out that thread. Originally Posted by Action&ReactionThank you for explaining! “Studios” have basically become AMPs run out of apartments. No walk ins and addresses aren’t published. You really don’t see the old non-Asian places like Relax, Southern Comfort, etc. any more.this. I totally agree. I remember the glory days of Royal lane, that strip mall looked like a cosmopolitan version of Miari (one of the old red light districts in Seoul for those not in the know) jam packed into a tiny American strip mall. 180 for everything was the going rate and they were all 19-22 years old with only a couple nearing 30. The neon open signs and store logos were all so bright. A true mongler paradise. They weren’t hiding nothing and that’s what attracted so much attention. They’d line up like 7-8 beauties all in a row and take your pic. Mongler heaven.
Probably the most impactful regulatory change impacting the AMP scene was the increase in scope and funding of the TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Registration), which now regularly makes joint inspections with local LE resulting in much more frequent closures than what we saw not too many years ago.
Perhaps not as impactful on AMPs, but very much a factor in the overall decline in the quality of hobby life was Texas’ decision a few years ago to make Solicitation a felony in those state. We were the first state to do so, and may still be the only one. That seemed to make LE much more active in setting up stings using online ads and arresting gents who are caught with their hand (or other appendage) in the cookie jar. Originally Posted by TinMan
