Anything interesting on Galveston?

Happy Tuesday... I'm headed down to Galveston this Friday/Saturday and was wondering if there's any hobby fun to be had on the island? Or if there's anything to avoid... besides the obvious.

It’s Jeep/Topless weeknd this weekend on Cristal Beach, beach will be one way only for seven miles, no stoping, no parking, no golf carts, no motorcycles, no ATV’s, no bonfires. Cracking down after the last couple years of free for alls. Galveston will proably be crowded as ever

Live here on the island and have played once with Alexandria Hall. She’s lovely but I didn’t think we really “clicked”.
