Does the emoluments clause violation cause anyone heartburn here? It would require a complete disassembly and still not 100% assurance that there isn't some tracking or other device somehow embedded in this plane. It's like inheriting a house that has to have all the guts ripped out of it. The cost of rebuild it including the freebie gift of the plane may not be worth anything. Plus what if something goes wrong with the plane itself, either by design or haphazard due to something that the qataris did, - wouldn't it be more prudent to have a new plane from the manufacturer? Fly this one till it gets replaced. They've been doing this with B-52 bombers forever. You don't need to be riding in the lap of luxury just because your POTUS.
