trump accepts bribe from Qatar - because of course he does

This, from the same asshole who accused Biden of taking bribes (with no evidence) for 4 years

trump has just accepted a BRIBE of a $400M jet from Qatar. Every accusation is a confession with trump.

Donny Bribes always accuses others of what he's doing himself. There was never any proof Biden took bribes from anyone. trump does it out in the open.

It was gifted to the DOD, not Trump personally. Another lie from the OP.

“So the fact that the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40-year-old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction, so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay, TOP DOLLAR, for the plane,"

“The plane will initially be transferred to the United States Air Force, which will modify the 13-year-old aircraft to meet the U.S. military specifications required for any aircraft used to transport the president of the United States, multiple sources familiar with the proposed arrangement said.”

BAHAHAHA

Boeing has a contract to replace Air Force One. What’s the delay?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...-one-contract/

President Donald Trump’s confirmation Sunday that the United States may accept a presidential aircraft gifted from Qatar marked the latest escalation in his clash with Boeing, which is years behind on its government contract to build the new Air Force One.

Boeing was supposed to deliver a replacement for Air Force One last year, but significant delays have cost the plane maker billions on the project. They have also drawn ire from the president, who told reporters aboard Air Force One in February that he was “not happy with Boeing” and may purchase a plane elsewhere.

USAF, Boeing May Modify Air Force One Requirements to Get Delivery by 2027

Boeing is way behind on their contract. if they had delivered one new plane last year do you think any of this would be happening now? Trump is playing Boeing to make their damn plane faster. how long does it take for a jetliner anyway? even with the extra military hardware.

one presumes Boeing has a frame started and it's a matter of finishing it out so Boeing needs to take this as exactly what it is .... a call to arms by Trump to get the plane finished. Boeing's rep is tarnished recently, they subcontracted out modules (a US based source btw) and this caused several of their recent incidents .. like hatches blowing off in flight.

amusing many of you assume TDS grift when the truth is Boeing dropped the ball. Originally Posted by The_Waco_Kid

Does the emoluments clause violation cause anyone heartburn here? It would require a complete disassembly and still not 100% assurance that there isn't some tracking or other device somehow embedded in this plane. It's like inheriting a house that has to have all the guts ripped out of it. The cost of rebuild it including the freebie gift of the plane may not be worth anything. Plus what if something goes wrong with the plane itself, either by design or haphazard due to something that the qataris did, - wouldn't it be more prudent to have a new plane from the manufacturer? Fly this one till it gets replaced. They've been doing this with B-52 bombers forever. You don't need to be riding in the lap of luxury just because your POTUS. Despite what you think you may be entitled to

Not worried about the emoluments clause, I just think it's bad optics, a waste of time and money... and an example of poor leadership

Qatar just gave Boeing their biggest order ever. 220 billion dollars. They can afford to give our government a used one.
