Jobs RIP

It is a sad day indeed. What an amazing man! He has true vision in the ability to translate it so it was accessible to others. I will miss him greatly.

I'm not an Apple user, but I can't deny the genius and vision of the man. I think history will look back on him as the a pioneer of the technological generation. Thoughts and prayers for him and his family.
He will be a definite loss but he prepared himself, his family, and his company well for what he knew what is imminent.

On a side note---
when I saw the title of the thread I thought Rakhir was getting back into politics with Obama's Jobs Bill.

I'd be happy answer that but not in this thread. I have too much respect for Steve Jobs to take away from his well deserved rest.

" Remembering that you are going to die Is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose." Steve Jobs
Absolutely - totally agree as you well know..

.....and what did Mr. Jobs say in a recent commencement address about "knowing I am going to die soon guides my decisions today" (or something very similar) which was so understanding......

What a great guy who shared his vision to bring us tons of fun, all the neat gadgets some of us own. I am a Apple customer for life because of the reliable products Apple has produced. Rest in peace and god bless you and your family.

A great loss to so much than the technology world, RIP Mr. Jobs.
And yes I have most if not all their products, great on all counts.

He always struck me as an ordinary type guy. Made products that ordinary
people could use. Definitely a true innovater with a forward looking vision.
Hard to believe the board at Appple once forced him out.

The saddest part is that we will never know what might have been if he'd been around another 20 years or so...

In all seriousness though it is sad news. You cant go anywhere without seeing an iPhone or iPod being used. True innovator.
