Modelo about to lose the crown...

to Michelob Ultra? Mexican-style Modelo had taken Bud Light spot at the top and now it looks like one of AB's other brands may be poised to reign.

I miss the days of going out and seeing LaBatt's blue and Killians Irish Reds as part of any GOOD bar- and now it's either some bluemoon etc., or some super hoppy IPA. I like those sometimes too but not as much. I DO like a 2xIPA, but those are for times you're not planning on driving too far! LOL

blow-over and soon it wouldn't matter. ...

Please look again and check.... Bud Light HAS to
still be the Top Beer-seller!

You remember. ... We were assured that Bud Light's
COLLAPSE was onley temporary.

Actually, it was questioned whether it was temporary or it would stick. We also looked at the long-term long-term market shift in the segment that's mentioned here, but I'm good if you gloss over it.

But now we have tariffs and immigration actions that may help Michelob Ultra take the lead.

What's the point? Is there a new Dylan Mulvaney ad for Michelob Ultra? InBev/Anheuser Busch learned its lesson already.

You don't see that Trump is going to help crown another American brand as king of beers and reverse the multi-decade shift towards Mexican beer?

Goddamn, thought you would love making Missouri beer great again

Naaah, you don't fool anyone, Gristle. Everyone can see you're just itching to start another Bigoted Budlight Boycotters thread.

No, Lusty. This is about Modelo losing ground and Michelob Ultra gaining steam. It's currently the #1 on tap in America, and may take the overall shortly

We have an opportunity to get a good American brand back to number one rather than this Mexican brew. That should be exciting.

This is pre-tariffs. The Michelob Uktra performance is impressive given the other churn.
