Was the tick still attached to you when you found the bite?Your taking this seriously?
Seriously. Nothing to mess with. I tested positive for Lyme. Clean it out really well, avoid hydrogen peroxide.
But go see a doctor. Generally it takes 24 hours of attachment for Lyme to transmit, but there are a whole host of other nasty diseases that ticks carry. Lyme is carried ONLY by the black legged tick, otherwise known as a deer tick here in the East. Seriously, this is a question for a doctor. Don't play around with this. Originally Posted by Swikgm3

KC In the past ten years I have had 3 ticks attached to my balls, and 3 others attached just below on the inside of my thighs. I take it very seriously. They like to go for the sweet meat.
