What you don't hear, you don't fear......

Suppressors, AKA, Silencers, have been made a non firearm in the House finance bill that passed.

IN other words, you can go into a gun shop, pay for the silencer/suppressor, have no ATF paperwork and no 200 tax to pay, and walk out with one, same day.

As it is now, its probably 3 months minimum in paperwork, fingerprinting, paying the 200 tax, etc.

I for one don't feel any rifle should be sold WITHOUT a suppressor, if only for hearing safety, and noise reduction.

But for Gun owners and the 2nd Amendment, this is HUGE, and likely we are eventually going to see deregulation of short barreled rifles and shotguns, as well as machine guns.

There was a bill to do just that, end the SBR/SBS bullshit, but it wasn't included.

HOWEVER, Mossberg just released the 990, a short Firearm, not shotgun, like the Tac 13 Remington, both semis, both able to take a shotgun brace and be legal.

I have this one of the right, buddy bought the model on left, 3 or 4 shot, this however is an AOW, any other weapon, only a 5 dollar tax.
