WWYD?

Question for gents: Has it ever happened you’ve recognized a provider in RW but haven’t “hobbied “ with them yet. Interested to know what did do you do?

Want to know the ladies perspective as well. I’m guessing the general sentiment (and my personal opinion too) would be you’d prefer folks mind their own business and not bring this up in a RW setting. Are there any differing opinions?
I ran into a provider that was on my list to see at a dog park. I recognized her, and although we were the only ones there at that time of day, I didn't approach her. She didn't really have any face pics in her ads...I recognized her from her lips & tattoos, so I didn't want to weird her out. When I DID end up booking with her, I told her about this, and she appreciated the discretion.

You never know who's around on either side. There's also probably more sides than you're both aware of. Save it for a private message a few days later.

Great post. Most of my providers become my friends. All is good when we see each other.

I follow these age old rules

"did you see her in public? No you didn't"
"is she out with other friends? That's not her"
"are you behind her at the deli counter at Albertsons? No you're not"

Out of respect for her, I would not approach her for that would put her in awkward situation. I am sure most clients would not want to be approached by a provider in a public setting as well.

Don't approach. End of story.

Closest I've gotten to approaching was sitting in a hotel bar next to one I recognized. Her date showed up and it was another monger I already knew, so he accused me of trying to steal his date, then introducing me. I got on to him later for being so loud about it, because I was there to pick up business associates and take them to dinner.

I didn't see you and you didn't see me ( just so simple)

I am not good at recognizing people in public.

So the chances of me ever embarassing myself and her in such manner will never happen.

I once shared armrests with Wonder Woman on a Continental Airlines flight.

I didn't know she was Wonder Woman until one of the other passengers in a seat near us told me she was Wonder Woman.

Another time I was in the same store with Pretty Woman. Only way I knew it was Pretty Woman was because she had a entourage of people following her, taking her photos and yelling at her name and telling her Look over here! Turn this way! Stand that way!

Lynda Carter Wonder Woman or Gal Gadot? Either would be notable, but Lynda Carter would be a bucket item list for me to just share an armrest.

It must have been Lynda Carter. I think Continental was long gone by the time Gal’s version came out.
I wouldn't mind sharing an armrest with Gal Gadot, hoping to act as non-chalant as I can about it lol. Jokes apart, appreciate y'alls responses. It's exactly what I had in mind as well. Would never want to put someone in a situation that even I would not want to be in.

Aside from the normal interaction on a passenger aircraft between passengers sitting next to each other, like passing the beverage from the cart service from the stewardess to her to me or passing the trash over when they are collecting trash, or the cursory comment about what we can see out of the window, or getting up to go to the lavatory and saying excuse me, waiting for her to get up and let me by, I left her alone.

I guess back then famous people didn't travel by private jets yet.
