But I lurk a few cities (joys of traveling a lot for work) and it is true across the site, to varying degrees. Most of the regular contributors are very clearly owners masquerading as mongers. With the rest hellbent on discouraging people from actually posting reviews because site management probably realized how much operating a board like this costs and why they want people to actually pay for premium. And, ten years ago, this site was 100% worth paying for. Now? The providers were driven off and the mongers are increasingly driven off so it is mostly a bunch of owners all pretending they aren't the person answering the texts and calling everyone "baby".

We have to be are be honest with ourselves. Our local board is shit because our local pussy is shit. We don't have a decent selection of reasonable priced options. If we even had a 1/4 of the girls like PHX or Dallas we would be ok. Maybe not enough money here to attract competition. Maybe OF took a bite out of girls that might be providing. You either hit an AMP, spend up on a traveler or deal with a bottom of barrel provider.
We make due with what we have and if a decent option pops up she gets reviewed 3 times in a row and ran through quick.

I don't even live in NM but I visit a few times a year and I've never had the sense that he's an owner or even a shill for CiCi; I know he only posts glowing reviews of her but he's also been a very straightforward source of info for a visitor like me--and not just info about CiCi's shop. I feel like he's just a big fan with a good connection that he's generous enough to use to provide us with information. Is there any evidence I've missed other than that he just posts a lot about CiCi's place?

Though I will also say that to the extent this is based on TBone saying it's "the greatest shop," I don't think he's wrong or even overstating the case. I've been fortunate enough to visit a few times and it actually might be the best place I've ever been to. Compared to CiCi, there's nothing that even comes close to the value proposition or service level here in Denver where I live. Even our K-orgs here--which are mostly great--cost a lot more and I'd still put CiCi's service level a notch above. I mongered in NYC for a decade and I'm not sure I had more than a couple of sessions there that rival what I got from CiCi. If I lived in your state I'd go broke very quickly because I'd be visiting there all the time; I'm always eager for my next opportunity to travel to ABQ primarily because it means I'll have a chance to visit that shop.

So I'll join TBone in saying it might be the best place ever. And even if he does have a financial interest, I've found his posts very helpful and informative and I think you'd find it very difficult to find anything he's said here that was wrong or even misleading.

I think this board is actually a pretty good source for info. Fear of LE is probably the thing that keeps it from growing even more. I appreciate the input on here and usually it's pretty easy to see who had outside motivation on their posting. That being said I got another encounter with Candy/Mimi, that chick is a real knob gobbler... Cheers guys!
