Search function issues

I continuously get a blank screen when using the search function. I have tried it on iPad and Mac with the same results. I have entered searches with xyz+xyz and with xyz xyz and get the same results. Any suggestions or is this a known issue?

The search function has been a bit aggregating for several months now.
