What happened to meet and greet events

I haven't found much mention of any meet and greet events in Houston. Is this still a thing on Eccie?

If anyone is interested in a meet and greet, send me a private message. This board used to be so lively and there were many meet and greets throughout the years last time I was on here.

It is not just in Houston. The board started dying a slow death years ago as far as active and stimulating conversations, lots of guys posting reviews, ect. There have been several factors, but the taking away ads for providers, the switching up the criminal act of prostitution to a felony in Texas and the way the board switched from welcoming all to where most members are non-participating lurkers (always a bad sign on an internet chat board), scared to join or start a conversation in fear of being labeled by the anointed cool kids are just a few reasons for that.

Socials were cool until some joined in and decided to take pictures of others, outing them in the process among other things was a big factor of them falling apart.

Thanks Wile E Coyote! Yes, there were fun times had and we all got to meet the opposite sex and see who you meshed with.

I can certainly understand that removing ads created less activity from ladies. And you're right about the lurking. I get messages from those who are not active on the board for the reason you mentioned.

Maybe a small gathering where all phones are off and no photos. Either way, anyone interested send me a PM. I'll be out of town until November, so that will give me time to plan something small for then.

I have missed out on the last few meet and greets unfortunately. I would love to attend another one, but being from out of town makes it difficult to host one.

Doc Holiday has set some of the meet and greets in the past on OH2. Since ads have been removed there is ZERO interaction with the ladies except reviews being done on them and few that stay lurking around.

I enjoyed the poker games biglouie would host. So much has changed.

Many years ago, when I was a newbie, I accidently walked into what I think was a Meet & Greet at a place behind the House of Pies on Westheimer. I was just going for a drink after work and noticed the crowd on the patio while walking up.

you never/ever mention locations of past meet & greets,
never/ever mention who was there....whispering, don't talk about fight club.
