looks like rules haven't changed much since this place, back then known as The Brothel Deadwood, was in business from 1876 on until it closed in 1980

Can you imagine sex back then and not just in the brothels and saloons of the West towns and cities?

Even just daily interactions between regular folks in places like Tombstone, Deadwood, Dodge City, etc?

Cowboys ride horses for days and weeks and months without much of a daily shower and bath.

They might come across a stream or a river during their travel and jump in with all their clothes on, that's the closer they will get to a bath out in the field.

Women in the towns, same thing. If you wanted a bath, you had to pay a nickel or a dime at the local place where they heat up metal buckets of water from a stream and river on a fire and then pour it in a bathtub.

That's how you bathe. The next person that comes along uses the same water you just bathe in.

The business just add more hot water to it.

In the meantime between bathing, the women just cover themselves in perfumes.

I guess when both the girl and the guy are filthy and smelly, it's not noticeable anymore because you both smell the same way and you are both used to it.

But it's pretty disgusting if you think about it plus the amount of communicable things the men and women can catch from each other
